What is Our Mission?
Getting the general public excited about space science and exploration and, ultimately, settlement; creating a spacefaring civilization with communities beyond Earth through
education, political action, and chapter projects.
What Does OASIS Do?
Through its many activities, OASIS gives members and friends ways to work towards building humanity’s future in space. Some of our members’ projects include:
- Lectures, tours, and seminars about space activities to the general public
- Meet-and-greets at events such as air shows, where space enthusiasts tend to congregate
- STEM education volunteering
- Campaigning for local pro-space candidates
- Building amateur rockets to get the rest of us into space
- Models of space colonies (more detail here – we’d love to have more participants)
