	Sea Launch (which, in spite of its name, also launches from
land in Kazakhstan), has filed for bankruptcy, according to the
following article in the Daily News:

	Sea Launch cites the slowing economy and the 2007 launch
failure as reasons for its financial losses.  It has assets of
$100-500 million, and debts of $500 million to $1 billion.

	APparently, the immediate reason for the bankruptcy filing was
that Sea Launch was supposed to repay a deposit (plus interest) to
Hughes Network Systems.  Hughes shifter its payload from Sea Launch to
an Ariana 5 rocket after the 2007 Sea Launch failure.

	Sea Launch's Laund Launch division was cited just a few days
ago, for the successful launch from Baikonur of a Malaysian
communications satellite.
