On display will be - the XCOR EZ Rocket and Rocket Racer rocket-powered airplanes, - the mockup of their Lynx suborbital spaceplane - Several rocket engines - and MORE! November 21st is also the "Plane Crazy" event at the Mojave Airport, where companies display their flying (or soon-to-be flying) machines. Past participants have included Scaled Composites and Masten Space Systems. Attendance at the XCOR tour is STRICTLY LIMITED to the first 12 OASIS members and their guests and reservations are REQUIRED. First come, first served. Those of you who've already left a message on the OASIS hotline have their spot reserved and we'll be contacting you this weekend with directions and further details. Due to group size considerations, we're having to limit each member who has a reservation to bringing no more than ONE guest. If this tour goes well, we'll see if we can arrange another XCOR tour in the Spring for those who missed out this time. (We're in discussions with the people at SpaceX to arrange for a tour of their facility in Hawthorne in the Summer of 2010.)
